Privacy Policy

JC Studio (“we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what the WTB Android app processes, why it is needed, and the choices available to you. WTB does not require an account.

1. Data stored on your device

Wishes, product links, titles, photos, prices, price history, optional actual purchase amounts, notes, collections, app settings, and ad-frequency counters are stored locally on your device. Statistics are calculated from those local records. WTB does not automatically upload your wishlist to a WTB account or cloud storage; there is no WTB account. A separate anonymous usage count is described in section 8.

2. Product information lookup

When you add or share a product link, WTB may request the destination website or a configured metadata service to find the product title, main image, store, and price. The URL and standard network information such as an IP address may therefore be processed by that website or service. If information cannot be retrieved, the original link remains available and you can enter details manually.

For supported stores, WTB may temporarily open a privacy-restricted in-app page to read details you can see. It uses no shared cookies, disables form saving and payments, and is not used for Amazon pages.

3. Daily exchange rates

To show an estimated total in the currency associated with your Android region, WTB requests daily reference rates from Frankfurter. The request includes only currency codes. It does not include product names, links, stores, notes, or wishlist price amounts. The latest successful rates and their dates are cached locally for offline use. Frankfurter's public service runs through Cloudflare, so those providers may process ordinary network information such as an IP address.

4. Advertising and consent

The free version uses Google Mobile Ads. Google and its advertising partners may process device information, advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from network information, ad interactions, and diagnostics to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. Where required, WTB uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to request consent and provides ad privacy controls in Settings. WTB Plus removes banner and full-screen ads.

5. WTB Plus purchase

WTB Plus is a one-time, non-consumable Google Play purchase. Google Play processes the payment. RevenueCat processes the store receipt, an anonymous app user identifier, product identifier, transaction status, and entitlement status so WTB can unlock and restore Plus. WTB does not receive or store your full card or bank details. The displayed price and currency are obtained from Google Play; no price is hardcoded in the app.

6. Affiliate links

When Coupang affiliate linking is enabled, WTB sends the ordinary Coupang URL, merchant name, and an app source marker to a Cloudflare Pages Function on this site's HTTPS origin only when you tap “View at store.” That function sends the URL and source marker to the Coupang Partners deep-link API. Its Access Key, Secret Key, and request signature remain in Cloudflare and are never included in the app. The returned link may allow JC Studio to earn a commission from an eligible purchase without changing the price you pay. WTB keeps the original saved URL, does not overwrite existing affiliate attribution, and opens the original URL if conversion fails. The destination store applies its own privacy policy.

7. Backups, sharing, and external sites

Backup files and share cards are created only when you request them and are sent to the app or location you choose. When you open a product or external policy page, the browser and destination service apply their own terms and privacy practices.

8. Anonymous usage counts

Once per app launch, WTB sends a short record to a Supabase database operated by JC Studio: a random install number created when you install the app, the launch date, your operating system, and the app version. This install number is not your device identifier and not your advertising identifier, and reinstalling WTB creates a new number that cannot be linked to the previous one.

Nothing about your wishlist is included: no product links, titles, photos, prices, purchase amounts, notes, collections, or stores. The only purpose is to count how many people use the app. It is not used to profile individuals, and it is not shared with advertisers or any other third party.

9. Retention and deletion

You can delete individual wishes or all wishlist data in Settings. Uninstalling WTB removes its local app data, subject to Android backup behavior. Export a backup before changing devices if you want to keep your wishlist. Purchase records are retained by Google Play and RevenueCat according to their legal and operational requirements. The anonymous usage records in section 8 are kept in the developer’s Supabase database while the app is supported; they are not linked to any identity, so an individual person’s record cannot be located. 10. Security, children, and changes

We use reasonable safeguards and minimize the data WTB processes. WTB is a general audience shopping utility and is not directed to children. We may update this policy when features, providers, or laws change; the effective date above will be revised.

JC Studio(이하 “개발자”)는 사용자의 개인정보를 중요하게 생각합니다. 본 방침은 Android용 WTB 앱이 어떤 정보를 왜 처리하며 사용자가 무엇을 선택할 수 있는지 설명합니다. WTB는 회원가입이나 로그인을 요구하지 않습니다.

1. 기기에 저장되는 데이터

위시, 상품 링크, 상품명, 사진, 가격과 가격 기록, 선택적으로 입력한 실제 구매금액, 메모, 컬렉션, 앱 설정, 광고 노출 빈도 기록은 사용자의 기기에 로컬로 저장되며 통계도 이 로컬 기록에서 계산됩니다. WTB는 위시리스트를 WTB 계정이나 클라우드에 자동 업로드하지 않으며, WTB 계정 자체가 없습니다. 이와 별개인 익명 이용 통계는 8절에서 설명합니다.

2. 상품 정보 조회

상품 링크를 추가하거나 공유하면 상품명, 대표 이미지, 쇼핑몰, 가격을 찾기 위해 대상 웹사이트 또는 설정된 메타데이터 서비스에 해당 URL을 요청할 수 있습니다. 이 과정에서 URL과 IP 주소 같은 일반적인 네트워크 정보가 해당 웹사이트 또는 서비스에 의해 처리될 수 있습니다. 정보를 찾지 못해도 원본 링크는 유지되며 사용자가 직접 내용을 입력할 수 있습니다.

지원되는 쇼핑몰에서는 화면에 보이는 상품 정보를 읽기 위해 제한된 앱 내 페이지를 잠시 열 수 있습니다. 공유 쿠키와 양식 저장 및 결제 기능을 사용하지 않으며 Amazon 페이지에는 사용하지 않습니다.

3. 일일 환율 조회

Android 지역 설정의 통화로 예상 총합을 보여주기 위해 Frankfurter에서 일일 기준 환율을 조회합니다. 요청에는 통화코드만 포함되며 상품명, 링크, 쇼핑몰, 메모와 위시 가격 금액은 포함하지 않습니다. 최근 성공한 환율과 날짜는 오프라인 사용을 위해 기기에 캐시합니다. Frankfurter 공개 서비스는 Cloudflare를 통해 제공되므로 IP 주소 같은 일반적인 네트워크 정보가 해당 제공업체에서 처리될 수 있습니다.

4. 광고와 동의

무료 버전은 Google Mobile Ads를 사용합니다. Google과 광고 파트너는 광고 제공·측정·부정 사용 방지를 위해 기기 정보, 광고 식별자, 네트워크 정보에서 추정한 대략적 위치, 광고 상호작용 및 진단 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다. 필요한 지역에서는 Google User Messaging Platform으로 먼저 동의를 요청하며 설정에서 광고 개인정보 선택을 다시 열 수 있습니다. WTB Plus를 구매하면 배너와 전면 광고가 모두 제거됩니다.

5. WTB Plus 결제

WTB Plus는 Google Play의 비소모성 일회성 상품입니다. 결제는 Google Play가 처리합니다. RevenueCat은 Plus 활성화와 복원을 위해 스토어 영수증, 익명 앱 사용자 식별자, 상품 식별자, 거래 및 이용 권한 상태를 처리합니다. WTB는 카드나 은행 계좌 전체 정보를 받거나 저장하지 않습니다. 앱에 표시되는 가격과 통화는 Google Play에서 받아오며 금액을 하드코딩하지 않습니다.

6. 제휴 링크

쿠팡 제휴 기능이 활성화된 경우 사용자가 “쇼핑몰에서 보기”를 누를 때만 일반 쿠팡 URL, 쇼핑몰 구분값과 앱 출처 표시를 이 사이트의 HTTPS 원본에 있는 Cloudflare Pages Function으로 보냅니다. 이 함수는 URL과 출처 표시를 쿠팡 파트너스 딥링크 API로 보내며, Access Key, Secret Key와 요청 서명은 Cloudflare에만 있고 앱에는 포함되지 않습니다. 반환된 링크를 통한 적격 구매에서 개발자가 수수료를 받을 수 있지만 사용자의 구매 가격은 달라지지 않습니다. WTB는 저장된 원본 URL을 유지하고 기존 제휴 정보를 덮어쓰지 않으며 변환 실패 시 원본 URL을 엽니다. 이동한 쇼핑몰에는 해당 쇼핑몰의 개인정보처리방침이 적용됩니다.

7. 백업·공유·외부 사이트

백업 파일과 공유 카드는 사용자가 요청할 때만 만들며 사용자가 선택한 앱 또는 위치로 전달합니다. 상품이나 외부 정책 페이지를 열면 브라우저와 대상 서비스의 약관 및 개인정보처리방침이 적용됩니다.

8. 익명 이용 통계

앱을 실행할 때마다 1회, WTB는 JC Studio가 운영하는 Supabase 데이터베이스로 짧은 기록을 전송합니다. 전송 항목은 앱 설치 시 무작위로 생성된 설치 번호, 실행 날짜, 운영체제, 앱 버전입니다. 이 설치 번호는 기기 고유 식별자나 광고 식별자가 아니며, 앱을 지웠다 다시 설치하면 이전 기록과 연결되지 않는 새 번호가 생성됩니다.

위시리스트에 관한 정보는 일절 포함되지 않습니다 — 상품 링크, 상품명, 사진, 가격, 구매금액, 메모, 컬렉션, 쇼핑몰 어느 것도 전송하지 않습니다. 목적은 이용자 수 집계뿐이며, 개인을 프로파일링하거나 광고주를 비롯한 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다.

9. 보유와 삭제

개별 위시 또는 설정의 모든 위시 데이터를 삭제할 수 있습니다. 앱을 제거하면 Android 백업 동작에 따르는 경우를 제외하고 로컬 앱 데이터도 삭제됩니다. 기기 변경 전에 보관하려면 백업을 내보내세요. 구매 기록은 Google Play 및 RevenueCat에서 법적·운영상 필요한 기간 동안 보관할 수 있습니다. 8절의 익명 이용 기록은 앱을 지원하는 동안 개발자의 Supabase 데이터베이스에 보관되며, 어떤 신원 정보와도 연결되어 있지 않아 특정 이용자의 기록을 찾아낼 수 없습니다. 앱을 제거하면 이후 전송은 중단됩니다.

10. 보호·아동·방침 변경

개발자는 합리적인 보호 조치를 사용하고 WTB가 처리하는 정보를 최소화합니다. WTB는 일반 사용자를 위한 쇼핑 보조 도구이며 아동을 대상으로 하지 않습니다. 기능·제공업체·법령이 바뀌면 본 방침과 시행일을 갱신할 수 있습니다.
